Join us at the opening of Objects, Meaning, and Matter, an exhibition of work from renowned assemblage artist Ron Robertson.The reception is on Friday, June,16, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The show is curated by artist Mary Price and will include Ron's recent "abstract assemblage" as well as his previous work.

Leather Key Chains and Coasters Workshop

Design and create your own custom key chain and coasters from leather scraps in this fun two hour workshop at Art From Scrap. Guest artist Allison Zeager will provide instructions and inspiration. A $30.00 ticket includes a glass of wine and all materials. Your keys and coffee table will thank you for adding such a neat reuse handmade accessory to the mix.

Macrame Plant Hangers

If you have always wanted to learn macramé, or just want a fun new plant hanger, join us for this beginning Macramé Workshop. Guest Artist Judy Nilsen will teach different knots that can be used in any macramé project and guide attendees in creating their own unique plant hangers. Each participant will leave with a completed plant hanger; just add a plant to brighten up any space. Tickets include two hours of instruction, materials, and one glass of wine. Plants will not be provided at this workshop.

Paper Marbling Workshop
Friday, August 11, 6 to 8pm
Learn the art of paper marbling, a decorative technique that has been used for centuries. A method of aqueous surface design, paper marbling creates patterns that look similar to marble or other types of stone. Paper marbling can be used to make cards, as a surface for calligraphy, and to create books and book covers. Guest artist Sharon Nigh will teach you the art of paper marbling in this fun workshop. All participants will take home their own marbled masterpiece. Ticket price includes two hours of instruction, materials, and one glass of wine.
